Kristen's First ShowYes, we realize this photo ages Kristen (owner of Sunny Ridge) quite a bit, but it's too cute not to share!

Meet the Team
Kristen AllanOwner/OperatorKristen was on a horse before she could walk (for real!) and has had a passion for horses her entire life. Her grandfather, Bernie LaFontaine, moved from the Toronto area to the 63 acre property he would name Sunny Ridge Ranch in 1990.
Kristen spent her childhood helping grandpa with anything and everything farm related, from driving tractors to starting young horses. Kristen officially took over Sunny Ridge in May of 2016. She loves taking clients on trail rides along with her trusty Paint gelding, Cheeko, who is the "been there done that" type of horse. Together, Kristen and Cheeko can help anyone and any horse get over their riding jitters. Kristen is looking forward to many happy, successful years on the ranch! |
Kaytlyn JenkinsCoach and Trainer, Owner at KJ EquestrianKaytlyn is the owner of KJ Equestrian and coach here at Sunny Ridge. She has had a love of horses for as long as she can remember. Kaytlyn started with hunter lessons as a child and over the years has had the privilege to train under many great coaches, giving her the skills needed to do what she loves and build a career with horses!
Whether it's beginner lessons or advanced lessons to get you ready for the show ring, Kaytlyn is sure to keep your sessions fun, engaging and, most importantly, rewarding. Kaytlyn, along with her personally trained Thoroughbred, Sox, competed in Open Training and First Level dressage this past season, finishing the year with high scores and red ribbons. She puts her dressage background to work in her coaching, creating a truly balanced relationship between your and your horse. |
